Geoff Kubank's visit to IPMS (NSW) in 2012 Part 3 - Tiger Moths

Long term members will remember that back in 2012 former RAAF pilot Geoff Kubank gave a talk about his experiences. He flew Winjeel and Vampire training aircraft (see https://www.radschool.org.au/magazines/Vol59/Page13.htm for some info, BTW those Radschool magazines are highly recommended as they have some useful articles in them). Later he flew Sabres, Mirages, Hercules and FAC Winjeels during his RAAF days. He survived an ejection from a 77 Sqn Mirage A77 -14 on 16/03/76 at RAAF Williamtown (basic details can be found at 'https://asn.flightsafety.org/wikibase/56851').

Later he was involved with the warbird movement and is also involved with the airfield, museum and collection of Tiger Moths at Luskintyre in the Hunter Valley.

In addition to videos of his talk which I distributed on issue (39/1) he also brought along his photo collection for the members to peruse. The committee arranged for a scanner to be on hand and with his permission made scans of the images and distributed them on CD (a copy of which I have). I am going to put them in the magazine split over three issues. This part covers Tiger Moths at Luskintyre in the Hunter Valley. Jeff owns VH-BNI (marked as A17-613 it's wartime RAAF serial)
