Pan Air
VH-PAQ was briefly operated by Pan Air Cargo P/L from Oct 1978 until it was written off in Feb 1979 (I think it was their only airframe). On 13 Feb 1979 due to bad weather at Wyndam (Tasmania) the pilot tried to turn back to King Island which was reported as being still clear but ran out of fuel and crashlanded in a gully at Yarra Creek, King Island, breaking the back of the airframe leading to it's writeoff (luckily the pilot was OK). Details can be found at 'https://aviation-safety.net/asndb/328661'. AeroPelican subsequently purchased the wreck for spares to use on their recently acquired Twin Otter fleet.

Air Transit later renamed as Air Kangaroo Island
Air Transit operated Twin Otter VH-ATK from Jan 1989 (among other types) later changing their name to Air Kangaroo Island in Dec 1990. VH-ATK remained with Air Kangaroo Island till Mar 1994 when it went to Whitaker Air (whom we have covered in the past). There are a lot of images of VH-ATK at 'https://twinotterarchive.com/DHC-6_226.html'
