Chapter 1 - a brief description of Tempest development explaining why the Mk V came first,
Chapter 2 - operations against V1's on the ground and in the air,
Chapter 3 - in the 2nd TAF (the largest section of this work),
Chapter 4 - Mk II's in India,
Chapter 5 - Mk V's and II's post-war in Europe,
Chapter 6 - Mk VI's in the Middle East,
Chapter 7 - Operation Firedog.
all backed up with period b/w photo's and 11 pages of colour side views. The Appendices cover operational tactics and a brief note on all squadrons that operated Tempests.

The Tempest has probably not received the attention it is due and this book goes a long way to rectify this. Recommended.
