A20-170 likely when it was with 5 SFTS in 1942. It has a strange fuselage roundel for it's time period, the lower colour demarcation appears on a few airframes such as A20-252 later down the page.

Profile of A20-170 with 5 SFTS in Foliage Green/ Earth Brown with Sky Blue lower sufaces in an interesting pattern. 'A1' type roundels on fuselage, 'Blue/Red' type above wings and 'A' type below the wings. (note 3 coloured fin flashes carried). Fuselage serials in Grey. Yellow '170'. Black serials likely under both wings (omitted for clarity).

A20-143 5 SFTS On the 12/11/43 the pilot (LAC W Strike Ser#432716) undershot the approach, applied too much power and managed to bounce the aircraft approx 15 feet. Image: AWM P01167.042.

Profile of A20-143 with 5 SFTS in Foliage Green/ Earth Brown with Sky Blue lower surfaces with Dark Blue/White roundels in six positions plus fin flashes. Fuselage serials in light Grey. Full Yellow cowling and wing and fuselage bands carried by this stage. Also late style air intake fitted.
